The National Hydropower Map

The ORNL produces and uses NHAAP Existing Hydropower Assets data to create each version of The National Hydropower Map (NHM). The NHM was initially created in 2013 to display the distribution and characteristics of the existing US hydropower fleet for the US Department of Energy. An updated version of the NHM was created in 2014 and is available below in various formats and resolutions.
